Tuesday
Low pressure is in control of the weather today. Cloud and rain through much Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as northern and eastern England. Brighter in Wales, central and southern Ireland as well as the Midlands and southern England. Heavy showers through for Wales, southern Ireland and southwest England with the showers becoming more widespread into the afternoon. Little change for northern England and southern Scotland this afternoon with more rain here. Perhaps drier, but cloudy in the far north of Scotland. Highs at 15 to 19C.


Tuesday Night
Cloudy through this evening across much of west and south Scotland and northern England. A front weakening bringing some outbreaks of rain and drizzle, but this fading. Drier for the rest of England and Wales, but some showers in the southwest and over the coasts of southern Ireland. Lows at 9 to 12C.
 


Wednesday
Low pressure south of Ireland on Wednesday. An occluded front brings some rain to the far southwest. A front over eastern Scotland and eastern England giving cloud here as well as some periods of rain. Staying rather cloudy in northern England with spots of rain. Other areas tending to be drier with some broken cloud and sunny spells. Best of the sunshine in western Scotland. Highs at 22C in northwest Scotland, 17 to 19C elsewhere.


Thursday
Low south of the British Isles on Thursday. A band of rain affecting northern England, extending to southwest Scotland. Showers developing in southern and central England and Wales as well as Ireland. Drier in much of the rest of Scotland, some cloud in the east and an isolated shower over hills. Best sunshine again for western Scotland. Highs at 19C in western Scotland and Ireland, 14 to 17C for most.
