Saturday 18/05/2024 The day starts mostly dry and bright with sunny spells. Towards midday expect cloud to thicken up with showers developing mostly over England and Wales, some of them on the heavy side and possibly thundery. A few showers are possible over Scotland as well as eastern Ireland too. Drier in the evening with clear periods following. Afternoon temperatures at 14-15C over areas with showers, but reaching 18-19C elsewhere.
Sunday 19/05/2024 As high pressure spreads over the British Isles with mostly dry conditions with sunny spells. Over southern England is possible for a few heavy showers to develop in the afternoon, but will clear soon in the evening. Best of the sunshine over Ireland. Maximum temperature at 12-14C over coastal areas and over Scotland, but rising up to 19-20C elsewhere.
Monday 20/05/2024 Another dry day for most areas with plenty of warm sunshine. Risk of a few heavy showers mostly over southern England and Southern Ireland. Later in the evening thick cloud and some light rain will reach west Ireland and west Scotland. Afternoon temperatures at 17-19C over most parts.
Tuesday 21/05/2024 Far north some early rain, but clearing soon. A mostly dry and bright start elsewhere, but occasional showers will develop through the morning and the afternoon, some of them on the heavy side and possibly thundery mostly over England. Drier in the evening. Tops of 17-19C over most parts, reaching 21C over southern England.
Wednesday 22/05/2024 A mostly dry and bright day with a few showers. Best of the sunshine is expected over Ireland. Showers will become more frequent , possibly heavy and thundery later in the afternoon over the far southeast Englands. Afternoon temperatures at 15-17C over most parts, but reaching 20C over England away from the coast.
Thursday 23/05/2024 Scotland and Ireland will see a generally cloudy day with possible patchy rain. Elsewhere brighter with a few showers. Tops of 12-14C in west, but 18-20C in east.
